CardioMedics, Inc. Announces Award of Contract to Syprosoft, Inc. for the Development of Software for their CardiAssistÔ ECP Systems.
IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 28, 2005 -- CardioMedics, Inc. announced today that it had awarded a contract to Syprosoft, Inc. to develop software for their CardiAssistÔ External Counter Pulsation (ECP) systems. The ECP System is a non-invasive, circulatory assistance cleared by the FDA for the treatment of Angina Pectoris, Cardiogenic Shock, Myocardial Infarction and Congestive Heart Failure.
CardioMedics, Inc. is the pioneer of commercial ECP systems and a world leader in the manufacture of ECP systems. Syprosoft, Inc. is a research and development services firm with a great deal of experience in cardiovascular products including pulse oximetry, atrial fibrillation therapy, trans-myocardial revascularization, defibrillators and angiography.
